Sacred Earth Fair – Urban Edition

RE Sources’ Land and Water Policy Manager Alexander Harris will be facilitating a panel discussion at this 2024 Sacred Earth Fair hosted by First Congregational Church of Bellingham on April 20th. The fair calls together diverse environmental voices of our community that have shared common interests and concerns for creation care and environmental activism.

Tabling organizations include Backyard Pollinators, Whatcom Million Trees, Whatcom Transportation Authority, League of Women Voters / Zero Plastic, Whatcom Land Trust, Salish Current, Community Energy Challenge, Multifaith Network for Climate Justice, Whatcom Conservation District, Urban Composting, and more.

Sessions include Backyard Habitats – Audubon, Labyrinth/Poetry, Children’s Mason Bee Houses, and City of Bellingham Climate and Energy

The panel discussion facilitated by Alexander Harris will with feature State. Sen. Sharon Shewmake; Seth Vidaña, City of Bellingham, Climate Energy Manager; Michael Feerer, Whatcom Million Trees Project; Mark Schofield, Community Energy Challenge; and Jonna Gilham, student activist.

Event opening ceremony starts at 1:00pm; Tables, Sessions & Panel to follow.
Admission is free to all.
