Ripple Effects: An evening film screening and rally for our region’s salmon, rivers and forests
April 18 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
FreeForests, rivers and salmon define the Pacific Northwest, but all three face an uncertain future. This Earth Day week, watch some new films and learn how to turn your love of the outdoors into action with local environmental nonprofit partners RE Sources and Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association (NSEA). Patagonia and Backcountry Essentials are hosting a free evening film screening event and rally for our region’s forests, rivers and salmon. We’ll screen three short films, then share some ways you can take action on behalf of our local environment, through both advocacy and volunteering.

- Healing the Nooksack (4:37) chronicles the collaborative local effort to remove a dam from the middle fork Nooksack River.
- Water from the Woods (6:50), a new short film from RE Sources, explores the connections between the health of our local forests and rivers.
