King Tides and Sea Level Rise (featuring WA Sea Grant)

Join RE Sources and Bridget Trosin, Coastal Policy Specialist with University of Washington’s Sea Grant program, for a presentation on king tides — the highest tides of the year. Learn how king tides are impacting the shorelines of the Sandy Point community, hear more about what Whatcom County’s Climate Action Plan could do to mitigate climate impacts, and how you can get involved with collecting important local data. The event is inside, but we may step outside to look at the waterline from the marina so you can visualize what we’re discussing, so dress for the weather!

LOCATION: Sandy Point Marina meeting room (4323 Saltspring Dr, Ferndale, WA).
