Beach Cleanup @ Birch Bay Polar Bear Plunge

Before the 41st annual Birch Bay Polar Bear Plunge on New Year’s Day, we’re holding a trash cleanup on the beach. Pick up beach cleanup supplies, free coffee, and chat with RE Sources and Surfrider at our table next to Beach Cat Brewing. Stay warm and help spruce up the shoreline while you wait for the plunge!

To combat plastic pollution in the Salish Sea, we host beach cleanups — as well as cleanups along rivers and lakes — throughout Whatcom and Skagit counties, providing cleanup equipment and a place to connect with like-minded community members.
